The Ulster Scottish Pipe Band was formed in 1922, making it one of the oldest pipe bands in the United States. It is primarily a competition band, competing on an average of ten Scottish Games each year. The Band does perform in a few parades and performances, and was honored several years ago in opening for several Rod Stewart concerts. The Band is currently under the direction of Pipe Major Tom Hall, and is located just outside of Philadelphia,PA. The Ulster Scottish Pipe Band is dedicated to teaching. We continue, as we have in the past, to strive for the best. We have several students, and are always looking for new members. We practice primarily in Warrington, PA, but on occasion will practice in Northeast, MD. If you are interested in becoming a member, please e-mail us. |
