Troop 53 Website Policy
All names appearing on this website only provide a first name and last initial (unless permission for other formats has been granted by the individual named) to maintain the privacy of those named. Out of necessity, several names of adult leaders do appear in full along with contact information. This information is displayed with the knowledge and permission of those named.
The Troop 53 website does not collect any personal information. In the event that personal information is requested, it is not necessary to be entered for continued use of the site or site features.
All Scout and leader information maintained by Troop 53 is inaccessible from the internet. Troop 53 will not, under any circumstance, give information regarding its members to a third party unless it has been authorized by either Minsi Trails Council or BSA National.
All information contained on the Troop 53 website is intended for all audiences but designed for Scout-age youth, their parents, and registered adult leaders.
This website contains a photo gallery. All Scouts and Scouters appearing on this site who are identified by name have given Troop 53 permission to do so. This permission applies exclusively to Troop 53 and as such, opens any others using Troop 53 pictures to both civil and criminal liability. All photos are the property of Troop 53 and include an overwritten message stating that the image may not be used without the permission of Troop 53.
This website contains a number of external hyperlinks which, with the exception of official BSA websites, do not serve as agents of BSA. All links have been reviewed before having been placed on this site.
