To Start a New Thread:   You will find at Heart & Soul that certain pictures serve as buttons. So to start a new thread click on this picture.


This will bring you to a blank page where you can type your message.

William(ologist): (type the name you would like to go by on the board.)

The very next space is blank. You have the option of typing your e-mail address here and being notified when you have a response to your post. Most of us at Heart & Soul don't use this area, but it's your choice.

Temptations Alert: (type the subject matter of or introduction to your post.)

Tell Paulie Paul All About It: (this is where you type your main message. Here you can pretty much type anything and as much as you like.)

Once you have your message the way you want it, scroll to the bottom of the page you are on and click on


to post your message to the board as the beginning of a NEW THREAD.

To Respond To A Post:   Start by clicking on a post that's already on the board. After reading the post, if you decide you want to respond then scroll down to the bottom of the page you are currently on and click on this picture.


This will bring you to a blank page where you can type your message.

All the line items work the same as described above. One shortcut to mention here - when RESPONDING to a post you can leave the "Temptations Alert:" line blank and the system will automatically copy the subject from the message you are responding to (This will save you a few key strokes.) Only type a subject when RESPONDING to a post if you want the subject to be different. Once you have your response the way you want it, scroll to the bottom of the page you are on and click on


to post your response directly beneath the original post you were responding to.
