Who am I?

My name is Shirlene but my friends call me Shir.
I just turned 21 last April. I can't beleive I'm going to be 22 soon.
I grew up in Houma, Louisiana but I'm livin far away from the boonies now in a little place called Philadelphia.
I like art, poetry, music, and alot of other things. I like to think I have some talent in art and poetry but I guess you can be the judge of that.
I've had a great girlfriend for just over a year and a half named Danielle. :)
I'm pretty bored and want to channel my creative energy into something new... meaning, this website. Hope you like it!
I'm creating a new site just for pictures of our cat Sly. Might have some stories if he does cute stuff too :)
