The purposes for which ICPA was formed are exclusively charitable and educational, including, but not limited to:

1. To support the education of Chinese-Americans, and of other members of the general public without regard to ethnic origin, with the goal of enhancing the development of a more responsible professional community;
2. To promote professional excellence among professionals, including, without limitation, professionals of Chinese-American heritage;
3. To enhance the public image and status of professionals of Chinese-American heritage as well as that of other professionals without regard to ethnic origin;
4. To perform all other acts necessary or incidental to the above stated purposes which are authorized and permitted.
