Every buddy needs a buddy!

Which is why we have started the new RAP Buddy Program!

Our dogs come in all shapes and sizes and are real characters, but the one thing they all need is a buddy!!

Many people fall in love with our dogs and would like to adopt them, but already have a house full or can not have dogs where they live.

Now they can be their Buddy until they get adopted!! The Buddy Program allows people to help provide support for a specific dog that touches their hearts.



The donation is a minimum of ten dollars per month. The "Buddy" gets to write a message to put in the dog's description! The donation stops when the dog is adopted, or you can choose another one of our wonderful pets to sponsor while he or she awaits for a permanent home.

The process of getting a rescue dog ready for adoption is often an expensive proposition. We exist solely on adoption donations. Often the adoption donation does not begin to cover the costs of readying a dog for its new home.

Although many wonderful veterinarians offer us a discount on the cost of basic veterinary care, some rescues require the expensive attentions of veterinary specialists. The costs of surgeries and specialized procedures and medications adds up. It can cost anywhere from a few hundred to a few thousand dollars to remove and biopsy lumps, treat heartworm infection, and perform orthopedic surgery. Yet we can't turn our backs on these dogs who need us most.

That is why your assistance is so important. Your sponsorship can be a one-time gift, or it can be a monthly contribution to provide continuing care.

Dog sponsorships make wonderful gifts for holidays or milestones like birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, promotions, graduations, births and memorials. Sponsorships are as fun to give as they are to receive... we'll include a gift card and mail it directly to the recipient, if you wish. Anyone can sponsor a dog - individuals, families, school groups, businesses, social or service clubs.

NOTE FOR URGENT FOXHOUND BUDDIES

The initial vetting will be about $150.00 per dog. That's $3,750.00 just in initial vetting not including kennel fees and food/toys/leashes/collars/medications/treatment for health problems. The approximate weekly cost per dog minus vetting will be about $70.00, or about $10.00 per day.
