Hi all, I hope everyone likes the new banner. I think I speak for everyone when I say I can't wait for the new season of racing to start up. What a long cold winter it has been. It was good to see some racing on tv last weekend. That had to have been the worst Daytona 500 I have ever seen. It seems awful strange how Earnhardt Jr is able to just up and leave the rest of the field at any given time. Good to see Lincoln open on their first scheduled race. I hope that's a good sign for the season to come. I'll bet if Williams Grove has to postpone their opener again next week the promoter will be digging a big hole and jumping in it. Considering the tremendous amount of races they had to cancel due to rain last year. Don't forget to check out Tri-City's car show at the Cranberry Mall this weekend Feb. 26-29. And Mercer also has two great shows planned. One at the Southern Park Mall (March 10-14) and the other at the Ross Park Mall (March 18-21). Always great places to meet up with some of your racing friends after the off-season and the best places to get all of the new schedules. This column will start back up regularly in late March. Can't wait to see everyone at the track!
