Ogre's musical relationship with Al Jourgensen started in 1987 when Ogre walked into a studio where Jourgensen was recording a song for his PTP project called Show Me Your Spine. Not knowing who Ogre was, someone told Al that Ogre is a singer. Al invited him to sing on the song they were recording. About 30 seconds of this song was used in the movie ROBOCOP, but it does not appear on the movie's soundtrack album.
Ogre was a touring member of Ministry beginning in 1987 in support of Land Of Rape And Honey until 1990 in support of The Mind Is A Terrible Thing To Taste. There is at least one bootleg CD from the 1987 tour, Flashback With Ogre, in which Smothered Hope is performed.

Ogre also appeared on another Jourgensen project in 1990, the Revolting Cocks. He sings on the song Get Down on the Beers, Steers, and Queers CD.
Ogre was responsible for Al being on the RABIES album, a move that caused tension between him and his Skinny Puppy bandmates. Additionally, Jourgensen's name appears before Key and Goettel on the Tin Omen single. RABIES was almost the last Skinny Puppy album.
As early as 1989, Ogre and Al Jourgensen had plans for a project called W.E.L.T. (When Everyone Learns the Truth). They recorded some demos, but the project never materialized. Ogre has admitted it's demise was due to too much Heroin use. Jourgensen used one of the demos on the Minsitry album Filth Pig. Originally titled Noreen, the title was changed to The Fall. Around 1995, Ogre signed to American Recordings and along with Mark Walk, recorded songs under the name W.E.L.T. Due to problems with American Recordings the album wasn't released. It wouldn't be until 2001 that the music would be heard under the name ohGr, with the album title being Welt.
Thirteen years went by before Ogre worked with Ministry again. He did two dates on their 2003 tour. May 4 in New York City, NY and May 6 in Philadelphia, PA. See four pictures of Ogre live with Ministry in New York here at Ministry's official site.
