The History of CMM to SunnySiders Page 2

Holiday music show is a success.  A large turn out to celebrate the band.  Bill turned the operations of the band over to Randy Miller to pursue to new avenues and to develop the Country-Gospel Group, Hilltop Four.

Spring Fling 2005 is a well attended success.  Shortly after that, longtime band The SunnySiders approach Bill with an idea to offer their services as a backup to him, as needed.

 

A deal was worked out and the show became Bill Venet and the SunnySiders, with the Sunnysiders staying under the direction of founder Ed (Sonny) Stumbaugh.

Percussion- Pat Stumbaugh

Bass- Chuck Merganthaler

Rhythm and Comedy- Moe Newlin, who after much contemplation chose to join on leaving Country Mt. Mix

 

The Group knitted together well, and enjoyed a successful 2005 tour playing some formats such as Sagebrush, Antique Diner, Grafton, and Big Circle in West Virginia, the grand opening of Bargain Hunter in Johnstown, PA, Stackhouse Park, Johnstown, PA all in total a record breaking season in appearances.

The Band purchased a bus in the fall and finished the season with the Holiday Music Show.

The band is looking forward to going to their favorite places and some new exciting places that are in the works for 2006.
