Everyone has heard of the TV show Survivor, right? If you haven't, it's a bunch of people who live in an isolated area for a long time. At the end of each episode (~week) they vote someone off the island, but one of the players gets immunity from the vote. Well, this is Survivor Fantasy Football.
This is just something I'm putting on here for fun, so don't worry about if you don't do well. Here is how it works:
1: Each week, the lowest scoring individual is eliminated from the competition.
2: The highest scoring individual earns immunity from elimination the next week.
3: Weeks 9 and 10 will be combined to form one "week", as well as Weeks 11 and 12 and Weeks 13 and 14.
Simple enough? May the best team win!
Week 1: Chris is booted from the island with only 47 points, while Faizan wins immunity with 106.
Week 2: Daniel and Clay are tied for worst score of the week, but Clay wins the tiebreaker (Garcia,23 - Toomer,18). Daniel is booted off the island, and Jacob wins immunity for week 3.
Week 3: Corey scores only 44 this week, forcing him to leave the survivor island. Janice has immunity for next week.
Week 4: Since Corey is already out, Mark had the lowest score for the week, so he's gone. Janice wins immunity again.
Week 5: Mark has the lowest score for Week 5..... but he's already gone. So I'm off the island. Say good-bye to the two-time Survivor champ (two years ago I kept track of it but didn't post it. But I won in a close won over Jim). Janice wins an immunity for an unprecedented third straight week thanks to a monster effort from McNair.
Week 6: Can anyone stop Janice? She wins her fourth straigh immunity. Reminds me of myself last year... Once again Clay barely stays in as Jim is booted off the island. We're half-way done!
Week 7: Afeef embarraseed himself with a score of only 8 points in possibly the most lopsided game ever.... and he only started one person on bye. Janice of course won immunity again. Only one more signle-elimination week left - keep hanging in there everyone!
Week 8: Of the five remaining people, Fahad had the lowest score, so he's gone. Janice wins immunity.
Weeks 9-10: The two week totals are:
Clay: 132
Faizan: 205
Janice: 181
Wesley: 164
Clay is eliminated, and Faizan has immunity for the next two weeks. It's a Janice vs. Wesley showdown!
Weeks 11-12: The two week totals are:
Wesley: 203
Janice: 155
Faizan: 148 (immunity)
Janice is booted off the island. No immunity is awarded this week. Wesley and Faizan face off over the final two weeks to win the Survivor championship.
Week 13-14:
Wesley wins the survivor challenge 222-140. Congratulations Wesley for the championship and Faizan for finishing in 2nd place.
