Everyone has heard of the TV show Survivor, right? If you haven't, it's a bunch of people who live in an isolated area for a long time. At the end of each episode (~week) they vote someone off the island, but one of the players gets immunity from the vote. Well, this is Survivor Fantasy Football.
This is just something I'm putting on here for fun, so don't worry about if you don't do well. Here is how it works:
1: Each week, the lowest scoring individual is eliminated from the competition.
2: The highest scoring individual earns immunity from elimination the next week.
3: Weeks 9 and 10 will be combined to form one "week", as well as Weeks 11 and 12 and Weeks 13 and 14.
Simple enough? May the best team win!
Week 1: Jim wins the the tiebreaker with Afeef because Jim's best player (Daunte Culpepper, 21) outscored Afeef's best player (Drew Bledsoe, 17). So week 1, Afeef is kicked off the island, and Janice has immunity for next week.
Week 2: Faizan wins the low-score award hands down, earning him a free pass off the island. Corey earns immunity with a new league-record 118 points (I give it 2 weeks to get broken...)
Week 3: In an extraodinarily uneven matchup, Clay more than doubled Fahad's score. Out of sheer disgrace, Fahad leaves the island, while Daniel grabs immunity for next week.
Week 4: Jacob earns immunity with a NEW league record 138 points. I guess I was right saying Corey's record would last 2 weeks (see week 2 note). Fahad had the lowest score this week, but since he's already gone, Chris will be voted off instead.
Week 5: Jacob earns immunity again with another NEW league records 146 points. I think this will last 5 weeks, but thats just a hunch... Daniel had the 4th-lowest score this week. But unfortunately for him, the 3 people below him are already off the island. Bye Daniel...
Week 6: This is the halfway point, where half the people from our island our gone. The latest to leave is Mark. Jacob earns immunity for the third week in a row. Only Jacob, Janice, Clay, Wesley, Corey, and Jim remain. Who'll be voted off next week? I'm not sure, but it won't be me.
Week 7: Of the 6 remaining players, Wesley had the lowest score, so he is voted off the Fantasy Island. Clay wins immunity for the first time all year, and we're down to our last single-elimination week!
Week 8: Of the remaining players, Jim had the lowest score, so he's off the island. Jacob, Janice, Clay, and Corey are left, and Janice has immunity. No one will be booted off the island next week, but don't think that means you can take a week off!
Weeks 9-10: Everyone had the following 2-week totals: Clay 184; Jacob 157; Janice 135; Corey 130. Corey is kicked off this week and Clay has immunity for the next two weeks. It's a Janice vs. Jacob showdown!
Weeks 11-12: Jacob's two-week total (258) was greater than Janice's two-week total (202) so Janice is kicked off the island. Jacob vs. Clay for the final showdown! BTW: 152 Week 12 is the new league record!
Weeks 13-14: After surviving 12 weeks, Clay finally had a letdown. His combined score was 117 points, while Jacob topped him with 193 points. Jacob is the Survivor champion!!!
