From 1861 though 1865, nearly
100 Mull family members served in the various armies of the Confederate States
of America.
The
Mull families are the descendants of Christophel (Christopher) Moll, who, in
1753 moved from Montgomery County, Pennsylvania to Rowan County, North
Carolina.
