Michael Moll
Luther's Independent Company Militia

Private Michael Moll (b: 30 Jun 1833, d: 7 Apr 1912, 5th Gen) enlisted in Luther's Independent Company Militia, Company "B". in October 1862, at the age of 28. The regiment organized in Harrisburg in Feburary 1863, and he was mustered out when the unit disbanded in July 1863.

No records of this milita unit exist, and it is unknown what service it performed to the Union Army.

Michael Moll was the son of Michael Moll(4) b: 12 May 1800, d: 9 Jun 1890, 4th Gen) and Esther Miller (b: 18 Apr 1803, d:, 2 Sep 1884). Michael Moll(4) was a farmer, and a descendant of Christophel Moll, the second surviving son of John Michael Moll.

On 30 April 1854, Michael wed Florinda Miller (b: 28 Sep 1832, d: 25 Jan 1899). The 1860 Census lists them living in Milford, Bucks County. He is listed as a stonemason. The 1870 census lists him living in Pennsburg. In 1870 he lists his occupation as a "Whip Stock Maker".

Michael and Florinda Moll had the following known children:
