
The best thing that you can do for yourself is to let go of the past and stop worrying about the future, we only have right this moment. It is very difficult to keep this type of mind set, but it is so empowering. Try to enjoy as much as you possibly can by being aware. If something is negative than just realize that whatever is happening now is happening; whether you like it or not, you can be so much happier by accepting each moment as if you have chosen it. You can take actions to improve you life, but you can’t change the present moment because it already is. Every moment of your life has the opportunity to be better than the one before, depending on how you see things. One idea is to keep a grateful journal. Every night list five things that happened that day that you are grateful for. It will begin to change the perspective of your day and your life. I believe that if you can learn to focus on what you have, you will always see that the universe is abundant and you will have more. If you concentrate and focus on what you don't have, you will never have enough. I got this idea from watching Oprah! Remember to treat yourself special in some way every day.
