Founded in 1995 Lancaster Disabled for Change and Justice is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization committed to providing education and advocacy support to the population with disabilities of Lancaster County.

Our goal is to better the lives of every individual in our community by breaking down barriers to inclusion. We feel this can be achieved by providing the general public a better understanding of the barriers persons with disabilities face. To achieve this we’ve established four main objectives.

  • Encourage independent living and community based support care.
  • Make persons with disabilities aware of their rights and responsibilities.
  • Develop and execute community education and awareness programs.
  • Promote and teach collective and individual advocacy.
