Pack up and head to the beach,
although some beaches require tags
that do cost money some are free,
pack a lunch, plenty of sunscreen and
a few shovels, and your toddler will
have hours of fun covering himself with sand!
You can visit your local fire station. As long as they are not busy, most fire fighters are willing to take children for a tour around the station. This is not only fun but educational too!
Click here to visit Philadelphia Fire Department's Website for a fire station near you.
The Please Touch Museum is great for children 1 to 6 years old.
Shop in thier supermarket, drive a Septa bus, or play in a barn.
This place is sure to keep your toddler busy!
Ask about memebership,
it will help to keep the cost of this adventure very reasonable.
Check out the Fun Spot! Located in Northeast Philadelphia, this
is a giant play room filled with little computers, a moon bounce,
a ball pit with a slide and a lot of other fun toys to play with.
This place is only for children 6mos. to five years so parents
don't have to worry about their little ones getting run over by the big kids.

Or spend the day at the ZOO!
The zoo is a great place to spend the day, many zoos
have sections dedicated to children, like petting zoos or camel rides.
Bring a lunch and some snacks to help keep the cost down, because the admission to some zoos can get pretty steep. At some zoos, children under two get in free and becoming a zoo memeber also helps cut down the cost. I, however recomend the Cape May County Zoo, the price of addmission is a donation, and it is a very scenic park.
Still need some more things to do, try ChuckeCheese. This place offers games and rides,
along with slides and a ball pit. Get something to eat and allow the characters to entertain
your little one for as long as you can take it. Click here to find a location near you.
