KEEPERS OF THE CULTURE KIJIJI
Philadelphia's Afrocentric Storytelling Group

KIJIJI means Village in the African Language of Swahili. We give thanks to all the families and youth who visited the KOTC Village for the HEAL THYSELF GARDEN PARTY, and for the grand opening of the new PLEASE TOUCH MUSEUM at Memorial Hall in Philadelphia.

Our KIJIJI debuted at THE WEST PARK ART FESTIVAL in The School Of The Future, Philadelphia, PA on May 31, 2008

Community listened to our stories, helped build our story quilt, and posed for pictures
with Princess Nyota Kungaa "Star Shine".

As promised, please clik on the photo and save in your file to print out your photo with Princess Kungaa.
Ah sweet memories!

We look forward to seeing you in our KIJIJI again!
