MY ONLINE DIARY

When I started this a while back, it was more to just be "cute!" But, over time, it came to be really enjoyable for me, and a wonderful way to remember little things I did, and, more importantly, those special moments we sometimes take for granted. So even if you don't care a flying fudge about what has or has not happened in my life - I don't care! I'm going to keep on maintaining this little "Online Journal" if you will of mine - it means something to me! If you don't like it - don't read it!

Just a little note...
...I list my most recent entries at the top. This way, you don't have to scroll down forever to get to a day you haven't yet read!

July 24, 2003:
Let me start by saying I wish I was back typing my last entry - you know - BEFORE I left for AND came back from our most wonderful and enjoyable vacation. Anyway, I'm not going to say much about it here - sometime in the next month to six weeks I hope to get a little page dedicated just to the vacation - so I can "lock-up" the wonderful memories. You know, what we saw and did and where we went and how I fainted in Belize and the fact that it took us 12 hours to get home. Anyway, I didn't make any entries to this in quite a while since all we did was celebrate the 4th at my parents and work a whole bunch of Red Baron baseball games and I obviously was not going to sit at a computer when there was so much else to be enjoyed while on vacation. That's all for now folks - I'd like to update a page or two of this site as well as my studio's. I also need to do a thousand and one things for Standing Ovation, since this is the second busiest time for me as far as things needing to be done. Oh yeah, and let's not forget the fact that I need to unpack - gee, that should only take me a few days. BYE for now!

July 02, 2003:
WOW! The weather has actually been simply beautiful - finally. Even the weekend was simply gorgous - AMAZING! This upcoming weekend looks promising as well. There is not much new to report on...did you acutally expect there to be? Anywho, I went to see my doctor on Thursday and received an A+ report card - almost everything is perfect and EVERYTHING is very good. Friday night after the game, John and I went to a local diner (Chick's) for a late dinner/little snack. Saturday brought hours and hours of cleaning the house, cutting the grass, gardening, work at the studio and more. We had dinner with my parents at Damon's and came home to crash. We were both exhausted and to top it off, I wasn't feeling the best all day. Sunday we had a nice little lunch with my aunt at Dino and Francesco's followed by a trip to the Cinemark to see The Hulk - John and I both anxiously waited for its release and neither of us was at all disappointed - it was GREAT! Monday afternoon I had a birthday party at my studio - I forgot how adorable little children can be at a party - it was great! Well, time for me to go home and try to decide what to and not to take on vacation - I HATE THAT! That, combined with coming back and trying to find a new home for all the purchases, are the only negatives (besides the obvious of actually coming home) associated with travelling.

June 25, 2003:
Can I just say people annoy the hell out of me. Well, now that I have that off my chest... ...Okay, okay, so I never picked up where I left off on Friday - I was busy (you know, the recital, then totally updating the studio site - more important) - sorry!!!! Let's see, where did I leave off? Oh yes, Sunday, last Sunday (June 15th) that is - Father's Day. It started off by really ticking me off when I got to mass - don't ask! Anyway, we visited with my dad and John's dad and then we did the Smokey Bones deal and a tiny bit of shopping with my aunt. That was about it - think - at this point I can't even remember. Oh well, who really cares? The week that followed was crazy with dress rehearsal and the recital quickly approaching. Nothing much to mention - the week was filled with running here and there for this and that, lots of dancing and little else. The weekend brought rain - LOTS of rain - several inches of rain. It has now only rained something like six weekends in a row - I love rain - but I've really had it already. Anyway, John and I headed for Applebee's Friday night, since the Red Baron's double-header at the Lackawanna County Stadium was cancelled (but of course not in enough time for us to make an early movie). Saturday brought a flood to my studio, electrical problems, more dancing, painting and oh so much more fun!!!!! We did end the day with a wonderful dinner at Red Lobster. Sunday came and so did my recital - it was lovely. I'm not going to go into detail - if you want to know - ASK! For the last few days I've been updating the studio's site and working the games at the stadium - I know - how exciting!!!!!! Oh yeah, and getting ready for the cruise!!!!! Is it time to go yet?!?!?!?!?
I'm outta here!

June 20, 2003:
I first want to say: "Happy Birthday Miss Meghan!"
Okay, so what a ten days it has been - things have been so hectic, but I actually sort of like that! Last Thursday (the 10th) was my parents anniversary - I would have liked to take them out for dinner - they have done and continue to do SO much for John and I - but that didn't happen. So before we went over for dinner, we got them an ice cream cake - I know, whoopie, but it's the thought that matters. Besides, my parents would never hear of allowing us to pay for a meal for them - they're not like that! Anyway, Friday the 13th came and with it another trip for John and I to the movies - Daddy Day Care, again for me. I'm not sure if John actually had an real interest in seeing it or if he just went so I could see it again. Either way - he laughed so hard I thought he was going to fall out of his seat. I know some people who say it's a "chick-flick" - but every guy I know who has seen it thought it was hilarious. My Mom and I also took our tri-weekly trip to the nail salon and did lunch and a little shopping. I was at the studio for a few hours on Saturday and came home and crashed on JohnJohn's lap for a few, since we were awoken at 4AM on Saturday morning by my "clothes-closet-room" (I'll explain another time) crashing down. My parents, John and I headed to the new Smokey Bones for dinner - it was so good John and I went back with my auntie for lunch on Sunday - you have to get their donuts! Before heading home Saturday night we stopped at Home Depot to pick up some supplies to once again put back up my "closet" (yes, it's fallen down before - twice, three times?!?!?! - I think it's high time I go through my several hundrend pieces of clothing - oh well!) Moving on to Sunday...
...uh, sorry, but it will have to wait - I have to run for now - I'll try to finish this a little later.

June 10, 2003:
I just saw that I haven't been here in almost two weeks - I guess there is a lot to catch up on. Let's see! On the 30th I hit Tannersville as planned and boy did my Mom, aunt and I have a GOOD time! Don't worry, we left some things for the other shoppers! Then John and I went to see Bruce Almighty - between that and Daddy Day Care I thought I was going to wet my pants - I haven't laughed so hard in I don't know how long! Saturday brought the start of a series of mandatory rehearsals at my studio, followed by dinner at Sibio's, a visit to my friend's for her birthday, a visit to John's parents for their anniversary and finally a tray of pizza from Vince's (yummy yummy). Oh yeah, let's not forget about the pouring rain - AGAIN! Sunday (June 01st) was my Mom's birthday we did very little except visit with her and head to the Lackawanna County Stadium for a double-header, thanks to last night's rain-cancelled game. The week that followed brought more practices and games, the annual dinner for the Chamber of Commerce, another trip to the Cinemark (The Italian Job - awesome movie - a definate "must-see"), dinner at the Stadium Club and a trip to a local church picnic, which, like all picnics these days, sucked! Hmmm...Saturday, June 07th (Oh yeah, it rained - again. It was only the third Saturday in a row it rained and they're prediciting rain for this upcoming Saturday as well.) brought our all-day practice and then John and I had a lovely wedding to attend. We left early since the next day was the NASCAR race at Pocono and a VERY long day. (Wow, this definitely should be two paragraphs - I'm obsessive about correct grammar and what-not, but at this point, I'm just going to keep movin'.) Well here we are on Sunday, June 08, 2003, heading into Long Pond bright and early and still sitting in traffic - that's par for the course and I don't care - it's always a great day and well worth the aggravation of the traffic. The weather was acceptable, cold for me, but then again, when isn't it cold for me? The sun never came out as predicted, but it's usually about 110° and smelly from sweaty people, so I guess I'd rather be a little cold. I'll live with what mother nature sent us. So the race is over and thanks to my wonderful hubby (John - them man as everyone knows is my life and whom I love more than life itself) not wanting to go a way HE was unsure of, we sat in traffic for three hours instead of maybe three minutes the other way. Oh well, we made it home around 8:30 (only to find my dad, with a little help from my Mom, finished our railing), had some Chinese and crashed. Next day! Monday, June 09, 2003 - we did nothing. A little shopping. The game, 45-minute rain delay and all! That was it and that is it for me for today. See ya soon!
