A letter from Sandy Raichle

About 3 years ago we adopted this guy, "Oscar" from you, as an adult guinea pig. He is one of the sweetest "pigs" we've had.

As you can see, he's been through quite a bit. He went through surgery to have a golf ball sized tumor removed from his side. He was given about a 30 to 40% chance to make it thru the surgery. Anesthesia alone is traumatizing to these guys.

Well he made it thru with flying colors, and was back home with us within 24 hrs, we called him "frankenpiggy" until he had his sutures out.

He's a proud little pig who loves his boy, Tom Raichle Jr.
