Hey everybody!
My name is Jade and welcome to the first ever Jaded Words, my own personal wrestling column. First off, before I go any further, I would like to greatly extend my thanks to Amanda of McMahon-Mania! for allowing me to become a new staff member and posting this on her site. Amanda, your site is really amazing, and i'm sure Shane O' Mac is very proud of you.
Speaking of the Boy Wonder, what an amazing past two weeks it has been for him. He made his long awaited appearance on January 6th's edition of RAW (if i'm not mistaken), and not without a big shocker. As Vince made his way to the ring to talk about the RAW X Anniversary special the next night, he barely got through 2 sentences before he was interupted by the Dudley Boyz, Chris Jericho, and the famous Eric Bischoff himself. He always has to complain about something, and this night it was all because Vince was taking up his air time. Well it was about time, because the Chairman had his fill of it, giving Bischoff 30 days to "shake the foundation of RAW" or he would hear the famous words of "YOU'RE FIRED!" And of course Eric did not go without protesting saying that there was not another man on the planet who could replace him. Well, we all know who that man is, and out of Vince's limo he came. Locking eyes with Bischoff, Shane crossed his arms and the tension was cut through by a commercial break. Mac didn't look to shabby, wearing one of his old suits and a new haircut (which wasn't one of my choice), but he still looked hot nonetheless. As of now, the GM has 12 days before getting replaced by the Giant Killer. I'm sure, judging by the phone conversation Stephanie supposedly had on Smackdown! that Thursday, she is very eager to see Bischoff go. So am I, although those chances are becoming silmer with him "pulling out all stops" giving Stone Cold Steve Austin the oppurtunity to come back at No Way Out and tell his side of the story. I really don't think that's going happen because of all the shit they said on that Confidential show a few months back. But, stranger things do take place, so we'll just have to see.
Is it me, or is Smackdown! getting cornier and cornier every week? I mean, with this Al Wilson/Dawn Marie/Torrie skit, its just pulling down the ratings. And what about Team Angle? Totally jock. They're amateur wrestlers, not sports entertainers. Big difference. I know Kurt was one at one time, but as he said and I quote "he won the Olympics with a broken freakin' neck!" Those guys don't know the first thing about sports entertainment, or acting. But then again, that's just my opinion.
Well, that's about all I have to say. Considering how much Smackdown! sucked, I think the WWE had a pretty good week, maybe just because of RAW. And Vince, JR, Steph, please come up with some better storylines! Its the same fights every week. All I can say is boring!
Until next week McManiacs, may the "J-Force" be with you!
