Image Details:

Another attempt at galaxies foiled by bad seeing. I think it is time to upgrade my digicam. These 8 second exposures are just not cutting it. I think I can get away with 30 second exposures with my mount/scope without too many loses.

Conditions- Very unstable and a warm 60? degrees.  Overall, seeing was about 6 of 10.

Image Capture and Processing Details- Images were captured using a Sony S85, 40mm EP and ETX-90. The camera was set to ISO 400, manual focus and 8 seconds shutter. All images were stacked with K3CCD Tools and processed in PhotoShop.

Wide field Jupiter and M44- Single exposure at 8 seconds and ISO 400. Levels and resided in Photoshop.

M13- Stack of 62 images. Cropped, levels and resized in Photoshop.

M92- Stack of 6 images (Several with bad tracking). Cropped, levels and resized in Photoshop.
