The West Palm Beach Phantoms were scheduled to play their home games at an outdoor tennis court complex. However, this never came to be and the Phantoms had no home games. On the road, the team beat Florida, 43-41, for their only victory. By late in the season, the team disbanded and was replaced by local semipro players near to the scheduled opponents. The Phantoms were replaced by a local Texas semipro squad late in the year for a game at Katy. The squad gave up an indoor football record 132 points.
