The West Texas Roughnecks joined the LSFL after leaving the IFL. The team experienced much turnover at the quarterback spot. Matt Parsons, Micah Brown, and Devin Dominguez all split time at the position, combining for 47 scores and 30 interceptions. Bernard Luster led all wide receivers with 866 yards and 19 scores. Fortunately, the defense picked off 35 passes, returning eight for touchdowns. Kevin Brown and Angelo Brown both picked seven passes. The offense sputtered, scoring a touchdown just 52% of the time in the red zone. With a 5-8 record, the team qualified for the playoffs and would play at Amarillo, a team they had not beaten in three regular season meetings. The fourth was not the charm, as Amarillo would advance to the LSFL title game with a 56-42 victory.
