The Port Huron Patriots became the third incarnation of CIFL Port Huron teams. The team won two games each against the bottom teams in the league: Chicago and Indianapolis. The Patriots also had close contests with Dayton and Evansville. Statistics for the team were incomplete. The team returned in 2013, posting a 2-7 record. The team was highly competitive dropping the only overtime game of the year to Dayton. However, the Patriots also dropped a 19-15 game to the CIFL affiliate travel team Flint Fury. Marion defeated Port Huron in the final regular season game, 23-22. Statistics for the team were once again incomplete. The team returned in 2014. After an opening week victory over Detroit, however, the Patriots dropped their remaining seven games. The final game of the year was a 114-0 beatdown at the hands of Erie.
