The Texas Terror turned out to be terr-ible in the franchise's first two years. The team finished the 1996 season 1-13. The only win came against Minnesota, 54-51. Only two of the lsses were not blowouts. In 1997, the team won six games, but missed the postseason. The franchise changed its name and became the Houston ThunderBears for the next four seasons.
