2008 Foals
All foals born at Hidden Timber Ranch are AMHA/AMHR registered unless otherwise stated. Each foal is given individual attention and by the time they leave our farm they have learned to tie, lead, and pick up their feet. Our foals do equally well in the show ring, the breeding shed or as loving companions. All the mares were vaccinated before foaling in order to make sure that all the foals have full immunity and all foals are vet checked during their first day of life. A non-refundable deposit of $250.00 will hold any foal until weaning, balance will be due before pick-up. All foals sell with a negative coggins and health certificate when needed. Foals are weaned at approximately four months of age. The sires and dams of the following foals can be seen on our stallion and mare pages. Hidden Timbers Rusty Streak
Our first foal of 2008 arrived on April 22 and it's a very sturdy little dark chestnut colt with four white feet and a big star with a disconnected strip. Rusty appears to have roaning in his coat like his mom, Lilliput Acres Miraculous Alex (33"), who is sabino. He is sired by our black and white overo stallion, Cozy Corners Streak of Magic (31") and will be registered both AMHA and AMHR. He was 20 1/2" at birth. Really nice little guy that is easy to deal with and friendly from the moment he hit the ground. Hidden Timbers Streak of Glitter
Glitter entered the world on April 27. Sired by Streaker and out of our homozygous mare Annie, she is a darling light sorrel or red dun tovero. Glitter was curious and friendly from the moment I dried her off. She was 21" tall when born and is very correct. This filly just gets sweeter and prettier with each day that goes by.
Hidden Timbers Magic Pebbles
Trey Acres Lu Molly gave us a bright chestnut and white tovero filly by Streaker on April 28. Truly built to perform, this girl is destined for the show ring. Hidden Timbers Streak of Elegance
Ellie is a fine boned, little black and white overo filly born at just 19 1/2" tall. She is sired by our frame overo stallion "Streaker" and out of Hidden Timbers Splash of Ebony a black splash white overo. This filly is full of life and oh so friendly. Hidden Timbers Streak of Onyx
Nick was born on May 23 and is a big strapping black and white overo colt. Sired by Streaker and out of C Spots Rare Jewel, our bay splash white overo mare, he is sweet and curious. Hidden Timbers Charming Streak
Charm was born in the early morning of Memorial Day, May 27. She's a very correct black and white overo filly sired by Streaker and out of Cherry, our sorrel splash white overo mare. Charm will be both AMHA and AMHR registered. She's unbelievably friendly and so, so sweet. Didn't fuss at all for her first vet visit even when she got pricked with the needle. Very calm and gentle girl, should stay A size. This filly gets nicer with each day that passes so we are now planning on retaining Charm for our breeding program.
Hidden Timbers China Doll
Our final foal was born on June 3rd at 9:20 p.m. What a way to end the foaling season!! This beautiful bay and white tovero filly sports two gorgeous blue eyes, pretty long legs and a super sweet disposition. She will be AMHA and AMHR registered. She is sired by our World Champion "T-Bone" and out of "Patches" our black and white homozygous mare. Nice correct filly that will show or breed or just give you a ton of love.

Hidden Timbers Timid Streak
I think it's time to introduce Timmy. Timmy was born May 16, looking more premature than his 16 days early would have indicated. Then he either did not get enough of his mothers colostrum or did not absorb it properly. At just two days old he developed joint ill in his right rear stifle and hock. After six weeks of intense nursing care Timmy is doing great! Still showing a noticeable limp on that rear leg but he gets around and plays with the other foals. With time we honestly feel it will be hard to tell Timmy ever had a problem. He's about the sweetest little guy you could ever meet. Has an amazing neck, gorgeous little head, bright blue eyes and very straight legs. Despite all he went through, he still loves people and loves his scratches. We would like to sincerely thank Christine Wilson of Dawson, PA for offering, and soon supplying Timmy with a wonderful new home.
