Epsilon Eta History

Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Incorporated, Epsilon Eta Chapter, was recognized and honored on the campus of Shippensburg University on September, 11 1976. Epsilon Eta was established by 19 dynamic women who chose to embrace the ideals of Scholarship, Service, Sisterly Love, and Finerwomanhood. Epsilon Eta has a profound reputation on the campus of Shippensburg University. The lovely ladies of Epsilon Eta have been very active in the community at large since it's inception in 1976. Epsilon Eta was the first African-American greek lettered organization to be established on the campus of Shippensburg University. Following the seven point plan of action, these lovely ladies have committed themselves to uplifting the community, as well as following the principles on which we were founded. During the last full week in February, Epsilon Eta's goal is to promote programs dedicated to the history of African-Americans. We have a commitment to a mission, which is recognized during the weekend of our finerwomanhood banquet. As an organization it is our responsibility to fulfill the dreams of our astounding five pearls of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Incorporated, for we are truly lovely ladies.
