Sadly, we announce the untimely passing of our Senior Deacon,
CHARLES WAYNE BALDWIN, which occurred on Friday, April 6, 2007. A senseless shooting in the streets of West Philadelphia, Pa. caused an innocent brother to be slain inside his home on a Friday night. Brother Baldwin was struck by a bullet which pierced his second-story bedroom window. Authorities said he died instantly. One of five men who make up the John Ross class of 2001, Brother Wayne will be remembered for his quick wit and awesome personality.
Rest, my brother. Thy work on earth is done.

As we steadfastly recognize what has become the worst tragedy in our nation's history, the men of Doric Lodge #115 wish to express our most heartfelt sympathy, as do all Prince Hall Masons, to the families of those who lost loved ones in the disasters on September 11, 2001 and incidents hence. Our most profound admiration goes out to the REAL heroes of America... ...the Firefighters, Rescue Workers and Law Enforcement Officers of our great nation. GOD bless America!!!
