The Texas McCollums would love to have you or any of the Newman McCollum descendants join us on July 8 at the Embassy Suites-Grapevine Mills (by DFW airport) for a family reunion. Our great g'father was Charner James (Jim) McCollum, son of Henry Carter and Mary Elizabeth "Hon" (Enis) McCollum. He and his Wife Vashti M.(Traywick) McCollum settled in Valley View, TX around 1885 and had nine children, one of whom was my g'father Murray Enis McCollum who married Cynthia Louise (Franks) McCollum and moved to Cleburne, TX, having 8 children. My father, Buster Len, was one of those children. I have more genealogy info if you or anyone else is interested, but no website as yet.
