These first two were from when I did some drag racing at Pittsburgh Raceway Park. I had my first power adder, a Rotrex Supercharger. One of only a few cars in the country with this imported centrifugal supercharger.
These are pictures of a my 3.1 turbo setup, complete with a Saab intercooler which I later removed because it was only becoming heat soaked. It was a clean engine, but as mentioned, tuning was a issue.
I found this picture on the internet. I guess it was taken by someone who posted it on the autocross website. It's me next to my Fiero preparing for an autocross competition. Again, this was when I had my supercharger. I was not too competitive at autocross mainly because I ran in a very competitive class since I had a modified car.
Here are some more recent pictures from 2011, I ran with my new 3800 Supercharged engine. Best time was 14.2 @ 102 mph. I could not launch hard, since the torque was too much for my clutch. I had to roll the car off the line and then once the clutch was engaged, I jumped on it. Even then I had to slowly add power or else it would have spun my clutch.
