A main eventer in the
Pittsburgh wrestling scene in the late 1990’s, Beast held
two area heavyweight titles. He took a brief hiatus from the
business in early 1999 to rest an injured knee and was
scheduled for the first two CWF shows (debut on 2/19/00 and
Revenge, 3/25/00). But doing a show in late-January
of 2000, the big man tore his knee and had major surgery on
it.
Forced to retire because of
the injury, Beast dropped out of the wrestling scene for
over five years. As he was moving some stuff at an old
friends house in the summer of 2005, he found an old tape
that they popped into the VCR. It was of Beast at a show,
and the “itch” immediately returned.
The Beats immediately started
doing cardio hoping that his doctor would clear him. After
three months of intense training, Beast was cleared to
return to the ring and contacted the CWF for a tryout. The
two-hour workout at the CWF Training Academy went well and
Beast was offered a contract to join the CWF.
He debuted at Motown
Showdown ’07 (1/6/07) and is quickly in the process of
getting back into “ring shape”.
In his prime, Beast was
one of the most agile and dominant wrestlers in the area.
His challenge is to return to that dominating level.
