BEST FRIENDS, UNFORTUNATE ENEMIES
A friendship that seemed indestructible.
A bond that appeared to be unbreakable. A relationship that
was supposed to be for life.
It all went down the drain at Winter Breakout (1/26/08) as
the two best fiends wanted to have a friendly contest to see
who the better man was on that night. Heck, the two joked
earlier in the night about whoever won should ask for a
Keystone title shot.
The match was even, as one would expect, because the two
friends trained all the time together. One may even say that
each man knew more about the other than themselves.
On that night, Xtasy won the classic bout and the two shook
hands afterwards. As Xtasy celebrated in the ring, Idol
left, only to stop in the aisle and give thought to making a
decision that would alter their CWF careers, their
brother-like friendship, and the rest of their lives.
Idol grabbed a chair from the ringside area, returned into
the ring, and laid out his best friend.
A brutal attack ensued and Xtasy was left in the ring. Xtasy
has not appeared on a CWF show since, nor has anyone been
able to contact him.
Xtasy did sign a contract and mail it to the CWF offices for
a match with Xtasy at Brownson House Brawl and Idol has
accepted. What can be expected from the two? Will the bout
be more about Xtasy’s broken and bruised relationship being
torn or will it be more about the new, and in his own words
improved, Justin Idol?
