BEAST ENDS ZUBOV'S RECORD CWF TITLE REIGN

The most successful Heavyweight title reign in CWF history ended at Fall From Grace Saturday night at the hands of the undefeated Beast.

And ironically, in the same fashion that Zubov retained his title in most of his 21 title defenses, controversy surrounded the finish of the match.

As it has seemed for months now, Zubov and Kato were in cahoots. Towards the end of the match, Zubov grabbed his belt and left. As the ref got to a seven-count, Kato came out onto the ramp way. At that point, Zubov, who had ran around the building, came in through the fans entrance and tried to hit Beast with the CWF Heavyweight championship belt as the ref was trying to get Kato out from ringside.

At that point, Beast ducked and hit the champ which caused him to drop the belt. Beast turned and nailed Kato and then picked up the title and dropped Zubov.

As the ref turned around, he did the three-count and CWF history was made. After the match, a host of the CWF superstars came to ringside to celebrate with the new champ, including Eric Xtasy, Jason Gory, J-Ru, Justin Idol, Dee Drake, Brett Paradise, and Powerhouse Hughes.

“This is an amazing moment for me,” Beast said after the show. “To see the fans reaction, it means a lot. I will never forget this night.”

Irritated after the show, Zubov refused comment.
