GORY SNAPS AFTER CWF HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE MATCH
At UNFINISHED BUSINESS IX, Kato pulled
the dirtiest shenanigans in CWF history to back door his way
into the CWF Heavyweight championship as he defeated a prone
Jason Gory to win the coveted strap.
Gory had just wrestled “BIG TIME” Bill Collier to a no
contest when “The Winner’s Circle”, minus Kato, laid the two
out. Kato cashed in his CWF Heavyweight championship title
shot that he had had since AUTUMN BRAWL (11/22/08) and ended
Gory’s seventh-month-plus reign in 1:29.
At AFTERMATH, Gory used to his return bout to get his hands
on Kato, and that is what he did. A tremendous bout that
went back and forth saw the referee get knocked down. Kato
tried to take advantage by using a chair, but Gory cut him
off and used the chair on Kato as the referee woke up.
The referee called for the bell and DQ’ed Gory, and the
decision made Gory go nuts. He attacked Kato with the chair
until the Winner’s Circle came out to attack Gory. Gory was
saved by Dee Drake, Façade, Powerhouse Hughes, and “BIG
TIME” Bill Collier before Commissioner LeGrande came out to
announce two HUGE matches for DILEMMA. Check the site for
more on the match.
