FOR TEAM ANGLE
TO RUN SUPREME
The scene opens up as the screen comes up with a Curt Hennig tribute. After a few minutes of the Curt Hennig tribute, the crowd begins going crazy and changing "HENNIG! HENNIG! HENNIG!". The fireaorks for Nitro then go off as the crowd continues to go nuts. The camera circles around the arena as many signs are seen, signs for peoples favorite superstars, and even for people who superstars they hate the most. Some of the signs for instance say "Kurt Angle sucks!" and "The Rock is #1" then there is people with superstars names painted on their chests. The camera then flashes over to the titantron area and shows the titantron. Then the camera begins to slowly make its way down to the announce table. Eventually, it gets down to the announce table as we see Jim Ross and Jerry "The King" Lawler sitting at the announce table. They then both put smiles on their faces as they begin to commentate.
:-/ ' oklahoma ' Jim Ross \-: "Welcome everyone to Nitro! I am Jim Ross and alongside me here tonight is none other than Jerry 'The King' Lawler. What a show we have for you all tonight, the card is solid and it is going to be a great show I have a feeling!"
:-/ ' the king ' Jerry Lawler \-: "Your damn right JR, it is going to be a great night of WWA action and tonight we are going to see some great matches, and also we will see the ceremony to crown our very first World Champion, Triple H!"
:-/ ' oklahoma ' Jim Ross \-: "Your right there, Triple H earned that title at Redemption and will recieve the title right here tonight on Nitro!"
:-/ ' the king ' Jerry Lawler \-: "We will also see Brock Lesnar going one on one with The Rattlesnake, and we will see Team Angle, Shelton Benjamin and Charlie Haas going against Buff Bagwell and Sean O'Haire in a non-title tag match!"
:-/ ' oklahoma ' Jim Ross \-: "We told you that this would be a great night of action and thats exactly what we are going to bring you right here on Nitro!"
The camera then heads backstage as a camera man is seen walking towards the doors that lead to the outside of the arena. He gets through the double doors and then he looks down the carpark and a limo is seen pulling into the arena. The camera man walks over to where he can get the limo in the picture better. The liscense plate on the limo says "TAngle". The limo then gets to a complete stop infront of the camera man. Then the driver gets out and goes to the back of the limo and pulls out three duffle bags and carries them over to the back door of the limo. He then opens the door and after a few seconds Kurt Angle steps out. The crowd then begins booing. He then signals for someone to get out of the limo. Then the Tag Team Champions Shelton Bejamin and Charlie Haas step out of the limo. Kurt Angle gets a smile on his face.
:-/ ' olympic hero ' Kurt Angle \-: "Well, here we are boys, tonight you guys get a chance to beat Buff Bagwell and Sean O'Haire in a tag match!"
:-/ ' the black one ' Shelton Benjamin \-: "Your damn right!"
They then all walk into the arena with smiles on their faces as the WWA then heads to a commercial break!
The camera comes back from a commercial break as it heads to the back of the arena again. Team Angle is seen making their way down the halls as they are then approached by Jonathan Coachman! The Coach has a big smile on his face as he begins to talk.
:-/ ' the coach ' Jonathan Coachman \-: "Team Angle, Shelton, Charlie, could I get a quick interview with you two before your match tonight?"
:-/ ' olympic hero ' Kurt Angle \-: "Go ahead Coach, you can have a quick interview with my boys!"
:-/ ' the coach ' Jonathan Coachman \-: "Thanks, well the first thing I would like to say is, Charlie, Shelton, congradulations on winning them tag team belts at Redemption in a Tag Team Cage match against the Dudley Boys!"
:-/ ' the white one ' Charlie Haas \-: "Well Coach, Thanks! I must say one thing, our match at Redemption, was something we have been wanting for a while now, ever since we stepped foot in this federation! I talked it over with Shelton and Kurt before the match, and I told them that I knew we were going to go out there and we were going to give it our all, and we were going to do whatever was possible to get the Tag Team Championship, and Coach, thats is exactly what we did."
:-/ ' the black one ' Shelton Benjamin \-: "You know Coach, I have to give the Dudleys one thing though, they are one hell of a tag team, I gotta give them that, but let me tell you something, we are the better of the two! No doubt brotha!"
:-/ ' the coach ' Jonathan Coachman \-: "Well it was one hell of a match! Kurt, did you think these two would pull off the win at Redemption?"
:-/ ' olympic hero ' Kurt Angle \-: "Did I think? Coach, I KNEW these two would pull off the win, you know why? Because they are the best tag team in the business and they obviouslly showed it if you watched the match at Redemption which you so obviously did!"
:-/ ' the coach ' Jonathan Coachman \-: "I certainly did! Anyways, you two tonight are going to be going one on one with none other than Buff Bagwell and Sean O'Haire. What are your thoughts about this matchup?"
:-/ ' the black one ' Shelton Benjamin \-: "Ill start off this one, I have respect for the two of them, but tonight, they are going to fall victim to Team Angle. I dont care if this is a non-title match or what, but we are going to go out there and give it 110% no matter what. We are going to do whatever we can to win the match and then come out on top!"
:-/ ' the white one ' Charlie Haas \-: "You said it as well as you could. We are going to go out there, and do anything to win, and I can assure you of one thing Coach, we will come out with yet another victory!"
:-/ ' olympic hero ' Kurt Angle \-: "Now Coach, if you will excuse us, we have work to do before the match!"
:-/ ' the coach ' Jonathan Coachman \-: "Well thank you for the interview!"
They all kinda give Coach a weird look as they walk off smiling, not taking their eye off Coach. The camera then goes back out to the announce desk with Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler.
:-/ ' oklahoma ' Jim Ross \-: "Well King, it looks like Team Angle is in the building and they look like they are going to be ready to kick some ass tonight, u think King?"
:-/ ' the king ' Jerry Lawler \-: "Jr, they are facing Buff Bagwell and Sean O'Haire, it is going to be a good match I can tell you that, but I think that they will have all the odds stacked against them but I think they can still come out on top with the win tonight!"
:-/ ' oklahoma ' Jim Ross \-: "Well King, we will just see how they can do tonight as they go against Bagwell and O'Haire!"
While they are talking, "I Don't Suck" begins to play. After a few seconds, Shelton Benjamin, Charlie Haas, and Kurt Angle come out to the top of the ramp and then put their arms into the air. They then slap each other on the backs and then head down the ramp. They all walks slowly down the ramp as Shelton and Charlie shake a few fans hands as Kurt just continues his way to the ring. Shelton and Charlie then make their way to the steel steps and then go through the ring ropes and then gets into the ring. They get into the ring and Shelton and Charlie hold up their titles as the crowd boos. They then ask for a mic as the ring announcer hands them a mic, and then Kurt Angle begins talking.
:-/ ' olympic hero ' Kurt Angle \-: "Now ya see, one thing that you guys dont get, you all boo us three but there is one thing that you guys dont get, you dont see that the best tag team in the WWA is standing in the ring in front of you right now. [Crowd Boos] OH ITS TRUE, ITS DAMN TRUE! Now Charlie, take it away!"
Kurt then hands the microphone to Charlie Haas as he begins talking.
:-/ ' the white one ' Charlie Haas \-: "All of you people need to quiet down and let me talk. [Crowd Boos Louder] Now, I know you are all jealous that me and Shelton are tag champs, and you always will because none of you will ever be in a wrestling ring your whole life. Forget that. Now, Dudleyz, we told you that we would give it whatever we had in order to win the match at Redemption and what did we do? We did exactly what we told you that we were going to do. We knew we could do it, and we were happy that we could get the Tag Titles and I can tell you one thing, we will not let go of these because we are ready to make a run with them for as long as it takes."
Charlie hands the mic to Shelton
:-/ ' the black one ' Shelton Benjamin \-: "You know, we did exactly what you said, and tonight, we are going to go up against none other than that good for nothing Buff Bagwell, and Sean O'Haire. First lets talk about Bagwell. Bagwell, who do you think you are man? You think you can beat Team Angle? Man you must be joking because we are the best damn Tag Team in the WWA. We will show you later on why we are the best tag team here in the WWA. Now, the next unlucky person is Sean O'Haire. Sean, Cruel Intentions, you keep telling people how to be better but you need to realize something my friend, you need to think about you getting better first before you talk about anyone else getting better. I see you come out night after night and not give it your all, you just act like you dont care. WE CARE! We will show you that we care, and we guarentee you that we will come out on top!"
Shelton then hands the microphone back to Charlie Haas
:-/ ' the white one ' Charlie Haas \-: "Like we said earlier, we will show all of you fans why we are the best Team in the WWA and you better bet your ass Buff and Sean are going to go to the ground tonight!"
"I Don't Suck" then begins to play again as they put the mic down on the mat. They then hold up their titles again as they step through the ropes and then walk down the steel steps and then walk up the rampway. They both turn around and hold their arms up in the air. They then let down and then walk through the curtains and walk to the back of the arena. The camera then goes to a commercial break.
The camera comes back to the arena as it fades down to the announce table yet again.
:-/ ' oklahoma ' Jim Ross \-: "Ya know King, Team Angle is cocky and they look like they are ready for the matchup tonight!"
:-/ ' the king ' Jerry Lawler \-: "Thats right JR, but I can tell you one thing that I have told you a few times already, this match is going to be one hell of a match thats for sure."
The camera heads to the back of the arena as Buff Bagwell is seen walking down the back halls. He walks past a door that says "Team Angle" on it. He then gets a smile on his face and then opens the door and walks in. Charlie and Shelton are sitting watching the monitor and they jump up when they see Buff walking into their lockerroom. Buff then begins talking.
:-/ ' buff daddy ' Buff Bagwell \-: "Well hello boys!"
:-/ ' the black one ' Shelton Benjamin \-: "What in the hell do you think you are doing coming into our lockerroom without knocking?"
:-/ ' buff daddy ' Buff Bagwell \-: "I just wanted to let you kids know that I am more than ready for our match tonight, and I just wanted to wish you good luck!"
:-/ ' the white one ' Charlie Haas \-: "First of all Buff, kids? If we were kids we wouldnt be in the WWA right now Buff. And also, if we were so called kids we wouldnt be the Tag Team Champions right now."
:-/ ' the black one ' Shelton Benjamin \-: "Yeah, and secondly, good luck? We wont need it because we have this win in the bag, now get the hell out of our lockerroom and get ready for the match!"
:-/ ' buff daddy ' Buff Bagwell \-: "You two will pay, just wait."
Buff Bagwell walks out of the lockerroom as Shelton and Chalie start laughing as Buff walks out of the room with his big hat on. The camera then cuts to a commercial.
