-------------------------------------------------------------------- Someone Is About To Be Stung! -------------------------------------------------------------------- Forward- A week ago today, The Stinger fell short to none other than a man named Test. This week, The Stinger will be in a match for the Number One Contendership for the United States title against Scott Steiner, Williams Regal, Diamond Dallas Page, and Steve Corino. Can Sting survive and go on to win his match and get a chance to be the United States Champion? We will find out on SLAM! -End Forward Location: Stings Home The camera opens up as it is shown right outside of Stings home. The camera then goes up towards the door and then walks right inside of his house. His wife is seen cooking something as the camera goes upstairs and Sting is seen sleeping. His wife comes upstairs to the room. She sits down on the bed with him as he is still asleep.
"Stings Wife" Holly: Steve....baby...get up, I have got your stuff ready, and you need to get ready to go to Richmond!
Sting rolls over towards his wife.
"The Stinger" Sting: Hey, what have you got cookin?
"Stings Wife" Holly: Ive got everything, come on down!
She leaves the room and goes downstairs and gets it ready as Sting sits up and then gets up out of bed and walks downstairs to the kitchen area. He sits as he is handed some eggs, bacon, sausage, ect. Then Holly breaks the silence.
"Stings Wife" Holly: So I hear that you have got yourself into a big match this coming Monday on Slam?
"The Stinger" Sting: Got myself into a big match?
"Stings Wife" Holly: Yeah, your in a Number 1 Contendership match for the United States Title!
"The Stinger" Sting: Really? Who are my opponents then?
"Stings Wife" Holly: Scott Steiner, William Regal, Diamond Dallas Page, and Steve Corino!
"The Stinger" Sting: Diamond Dallas Page? Does he ever go away? Ever since I have got into the wMe all I ever hear and see is Diamond Dallas Page this, Diamond Dallas Page that, and I am always fighting against him!
"Stings Wife" Holly: Well thats what this says, so you could have your shot at the United States Title pretty quickly Steve!
"The Stinger" Sting: Yeah, my match this past week on Slam was a pretty good one, I was a little overconfident and didnt think he was like he was, but I took it like a man and didnt whine about it.
"Stings Wife" Holly: You did great, just shape up and you will get better next week in time for the Number 1 Contendership for the United States Title!
"The Stinger" Sting: Yeah!
"Stings Wife" Holly: Well, what are your plans for today other than flying to Richmond?
"The Stinger" Sting: Ah, thats right, flight leaves in a few hours doesnt it? Well im gonna fly to Richmond, go to the arena and find my lockerroom and things, then probably go train at the gym and get ready for Monday!
"Stings Wife" Holly: Thats sounds good!
"The Stinger" Sting: Yeah, but you know, this match means everything to me right now, this could be my chance to win some gold in the federation, and I wanna do whatever I can in order to win and get a shot at the title. I will go to any extremes I have to in order to win.
"Stings Wife" Holly: Well, you better get going to take a shower and things before you leave for the airport.
Sting then gets up from the table and then makes his way up the stairs and to the restroom for a shower as the camera fades out.
Location: Venice Beach Airport The scene reopens as it is inside of an airport. The camera then goes through the walking area and then gets inside of the plane. The cameraman then walks throughout the airplane as he then finds his seat. His seat happens to be right behind Sting on the plane. He sits down as he waits. Then a little kid gets on the plane and then comes over and sits in the seat right next to Sting. Then once the plane gets flying, Sting breaks silence.
"The Stinger" Sting: Hey kid!
"Little Kid" Bob: Hi, who are you?
"The Stinger" Sting: I am Steve Vorden a.k.a Sting, you?
"Little Kid" Bob: My name is Bob, are you that wrestler that wrestles for the Wrestlemania Entertainment federation, wMe?
"The Stinger" Sting: Sure am son, you ever get a chance to watch it?
"Little Kid" Bob: I do, every week I watch Slam, I dont get the channel for Smackdown though so I only get to see Slam, it is awesome that I am sitting next to a wrestling superstar!
"The Stinger" Sting: Well its good to be meeting a fan of mine!
"Little Kid" Bob: I watched Wrestlemania 2 and you did a great job but then on Slam this week you got beat, what happened Sting?
"The Stinger" Sting: Well Wrestlemania was easy like I said it would be, and Monday night, I just messed up, and he was stronger than I took him to be, and I got creamed for it, so it was my fault for thinking he was easy, but if I ever get a rematch I will know what he is like!
"Little Kid" Bob: Well, it just looked like you werent putting much effort into the match.
"The Stinger" Sting: I always put as much effort as possible into my matches. You know as well as I do that I could of beaten him but I just wasnt up to par Monday, but like I said, I will get revenge on him. This Monday I get a chance to have a shot at the United States Title!
"Little Kid" Bob: Awesome!
"The Stinger" Sting: Well kid, im gonna take a nap, wake me up when we are close to there.
"Little Kid" Bob: OK!
Sting then puts his head back in his chair and falls asleep as the little kid opens up a magazine and begins looking through it as the plane continues to make its way to Richmond, Virginia.
A few hours later, Sting is awaken by the little kid in which he was sitting next to. The little kid pats Sting on the back a few times as he speaks.
"Little Kid" Bob: Sting, we are almost there!
Sting then wakes up and rubs his eyes after taking a long nap.
"The Stinger" Sting: Hey, thanks kid!
"Little Kid" Bob: Your welcome Sting!
"The Stinger" Sting: For being a good kid, I got somethin for ya!
Sting then reaches into his pocket and pulls out some tickets that say SLAM! Front Row on them. The kids face lightens up.
"The Stinger" Sting: Here ya go, bring you and your parent to the show and watch me beat some butt, first hand!
"Little Kid" Bob: WOAH, Thanks alot Sting!
"The Stinger" Sting: No problem kid.
"Flight Attendant" Debbie: We are now in Richmond, Virginia, hope you enjoyed your flight.
Sting then gets off the airplane once they land and then goes and gets his stuff and then makes his way out of the airport as the camera then fades to black.
Location: Richmond, Virginia The scene opens up as it heads to the arena in Richmond, Virginia. It goes to the backstage area as some superstars are seen making their way to the arena. Then out of nowhere Sting walks in front of the camera. Sting looks like he has just gotton to the arena and is making his way towards the lockerroom for the House Show there that night. Then Michael Cole makes his way up to Sting.
"Coleslaw" Michael Cole: Sting...could I please get an interview with you?
"The Stinger" Sting: Yeah, sure Cole, what do you need?
"Coleslaw" Michael Cole: Well, the first thing I need to ask you is, what are your reactions towards Test last week when he beat you in the ring for the 1..2..3?
 "The Stinger" Sting: Well ya see Coach, I told you that Test was going to be hard, and he was. I gotta give him something, he is more than I thought he was going to be. He is a great competitor and he is going to get places here in the business. But, im not here to talk nice things about Test. Test, as far as im concerned, you got the better of me, I underestimated you which I shouldnt have, and I payed for it, but one of these days Test, its all going to come back to haunt you when the Stinger comes after you yet again!
"Coleslaw" Michael Cole: What are your thoughts on your match tonight?
"The Stinger" Sting: Cole, give me about thirty seconds and you will find out!
Michael Cole gets a weird look on his face as Sting walks off and looks like he is heading towards the ring as the camera cuts to a quick commercial break.
Location: Richmond, Virginia The camera comes back from a commercial break as Stings music begins to play from the PA System. About 10 seconds later Sting is seen coming out of the curtains and to the top of the rampway. He taunts to the crowd putting his arms out and then puts his hands up to his mouth and lets out a 'WOO'. He then makes his way down the ramp and shakes some people hands on the way. He then walks to one side of the ring and walks up the steel steps and gets into the ring. He then gives out another 'WOO' and then grabs a microphone from the ring announcer.
 "The Stinger" Sting: Well well well...Number One contendership for the United States Title! Ya see, this title means alot to me, and I am going to capture it in a matter of time, and I am going to start tonight! Last week, I had a bad match, I had a match with a man that was better than I ever expected him to be! Test is a great competitor and I give him ups on that, but that is all he is, because I can beat him on my good days. I mean look at him, he is a big guy. Anyways, lets get on about my match that I got here tonight. Like I said, this is a match that I want and NEED to win, and I am going to do whatever I can in order to win it! Now, its the thing about who I have to face in this match that is the hard part. I am just going to start at the top of the list here. First we got none other than Scotty Steiner! Scott, me and you go way back man, we were like best of friends at one time, and now it all comes down to us both being here in the wMe and having to face each other for a chance at the United States Title. But ya know, friend or no friend, I am going to have to beat your ass to win this match, and definately if it is a number one contenders match I will do it. But we will remain friends, thats for damn sure. So Scott, lace up them boots bud, cause the Stinger is comin after ya! Next on down the line we have none other than William Regal. Willie, what do you think you are going to do in this match, u think that you are going to deliver a win to these fans? Because if that is what you are thinking, you need to go get your head checked because there is three guys in this match a hell of a lot better than you and you know it damn well. See William, you are nothing but dirt on my shoes, and I am going to rub that dirt off tonight and then slide right past you and into the United States Title Match while you are left behind in the dust! The third unlucky guy in this match is Steve Corino! Steve, havent I beat you before in that tag match a few weeks back? I believe so! And I will just do the same thing to you this week that I did that time, so there is no use in talking about you! The final man in this matchup is none other than my good friend DDP! (Laughs) DDP, man, how many times have we faced each other in the ring now? Its been quite a few ever since I came into the wMe. Pretty much every match but 2 have been with or against you, and only one was with you. See DDP, I have showed you plenty of times what The Stinger is capable of, and you better tell all these other people in the match or they are going to fall to The Stinger, now time to talk about you because I am just going to do the same thing I have done to you for the past month. Now, final message to each and every one of you. Make sure that you lace up your boots and you get ready because I know damn sure that I am going to and I am going to do everything in order to win and if you have a problem with that, I will be in my lockerroom and I will be willing to kick your ass before the match if you feel that you want to. You know what?.... ITS SHOWTIME FOLKS!
Stings music then plays again as he makes his way out of the ring and makes his way to the backstage area as the wMe fades out to a commercial break.
