Hello! Welcome to my website! My name is Dawn Cohen, and I am an American History, World History, and Child Psychology teacher at Northeast High School. I have been a teacher here at Northeast for two years, but I have been teaching for 10 years total. I attended and became a graduate of Bishop Conwell High School. After high school, I went onto Holy Family College for a Bachelors Degree, and now I attend classes at Arcadia University, where I am working towards a masters degree in History.

In the classroom, effort is extremely important to me. Students are graded on tests, quizzes, assignments, projects, and participation. Students must earn their grades! They recieve their grades based on the effort they put into the class. Some of my classroom rules are:

1. Be Respectful.

2. Come Prepared To Class to learn each day.

3. Do not disrupt learning.

Outside of the classroom, I love to spend time with my family. Family is the most important part of my life. I also love to spend time with my cats! Here is a picture of them:

I hope you enjoy my site, and come again soon! Remember:

"We must learn to think for ourselves so that others will not think for us."
