Words from the General Manager
Greetings!
My plans are to keep you updated as the Biscuits move toward a new and more exciting ballclub in the future. It is my number one goal to sign Bill Barnes to a multi-year contract.
Rumors are circulating that Bill Stouffer is being courted by the the left coast- most namely the San Francisco Rainbows. We will also try to sign Bill.
I must admit management is a little concerned that "Big Al, Little Hit" Thomas was a no show at work today. Although many of us were sore and stiff, we made it to work. Let's face it resigning a slow moving, light hitting, sickly 1st baseman is not our top priority.
We have not been able to come to an agreement with the "Doughies" - so Canute and Swanson will stay with the big club.
Did anybody else notice Jeff Smith's game fall apart after the "Balk" calls.
