Good Pitching and Big Fourth Inning Puts Team Guidash Away

Coming off the first victory of the season, Team Guidash took the field for a double-header playing Team Walker in their second game. Coming off a loss to Team Smacker, Team Walker was looking to score some runs and that is what they did.
David Zimmerman took the mound and retired the side on three pitches to end the top of the first inning without damage. Zimmerman then preceded to drive in Dustin Guidash on a fielder's choice groundout to give his team the one run lead after one inning. Stu White got his first hit in the top of the secnd with a solo homerun. Andy Snyder followed with a double but was stranded on base. With the game tied, Guidash drove in A.J. Gillung with an RBI triple and Zimmerman drove in Guidash with a double to give Team Guidash the two run lead after two innings. 
Joey Troupe lead off the third inning with his second solo homerun of the season, and Andy Synder also hit his second solo homerun of the season after a Stu White groundout. With the game tied, Ronnie Walker held Team Guidash scoreless in the bottom of the third inning. Team Walker took the offensive in the top of the fourth. After hitting a single, Stu White was beaned trying to take second on a double. Snyder followed the out with a triple and later scored on a Walker two-run homerun. Troupe and White each followed with solo homeruns to extend the Team Walker lead to 7-3.
A.J. Gillung lead off the bottom of the fourth with his third homerun of the season to cut the deficit to three runs. After a scoreless fifth inning for both teams, Zimmerman held Team Walker without scoring in the sixth. A.J. Gillung hit his fourth homerun in the bottom of the sixth to cut the lead two two runs, 7-5. Team Guidash held Team Walker in the top of the seventh but quickly ended the game on two groundouts in the bottom of the seventh.

Walker earned a complete game victory in his first game of the season. Zimmerman reached base only once in six at-bats after hitting three homeruns in the previous game.
