Italian Veggie Toss No specific amounts here: 2 or 3 green veggies-we like baby green beans, zucchini, baby tiger squash, sugar snap peas, snow peas etc. cut into bite sized pieces-maybe 1" or slices--green beans you can leave whole. 2 or 3T butter 1 or 2 garlic cloves, minced basil and oregano sea salt, kosher salt, or other coarse salt All of this is to taste really. Melt the butter in a wok or large pan over high heat-add the garlic and saute briefly-add the veggies and saute or stir-fry until crisp tender. Add herbs and salt and serve. My kids will eat veggies this way that they will normally never touch, and when I was doing the veggie station at the restaurant in school and did this, I had many many requests for a "recipe".
