Hey wrestling fans it’s AJ Smith, founder of AMWF wrestling Last Monday night was to say the least.. shocking. The re-birth of former WCW chief Eric Bischoff. The wrestling world for just a few minutes stood still. Who would of thought that you would see both of the wrestling super powers in the same wrestling arena. It just goes to show you just how desperate Vince Mc Mahon really is.
Just a few years ago WCW was on top of the world and WWF was on the brink of a total melt down !
But along came DX and it was enough to keep WWF afloat and with at times “very adult themes”. The story lines of WWF fed the hunger of the main stream wrestling fans hunger. WWF stood tall in the storm of every possible lawsuit and complaints.
The screwing of Bret Hart and the death of Owen Hart and the quick and shameless death of the XFL. And again WWF stood up to the storm. And since the terrible day of September 11, 2001, the World will be forever changed. We all pray for all the victims and there family’s.
Wrestling, as well as main stream America, has been Injured. We will never be the same again. Pay per view rates are way down. As well, live wrestling shows. Many Indy feds have shut there doors or are on the brink of doing so. That’s why indy wrestling must survive! The wrestling fan is still out there and wants a few hours away from the hassles of day to day living and indy wrestling can take them away for a few hours.
