Russell Zimmerman, Ide Road, Meeker, RD 4, Dallas, was dead on arrival Monday morning in Nesbitt Memorial Hospital, Kingston.

Born in Larksville on December 29, 1916, he was a son of the late Fred and Nettie Miller Zimmerman. He resided in Meeker the past 30 years. He was formerly employed in the mines, retiring due to illness.

Surviving are his wife, the former Helen Butch; sons, Russell Jr., Sweet Valley; Jerry, Lancaster; sisters, Mrs. Henry Weaver, Mrs. William Warman, both of Larksville; brothers, Ransom, of Erie; Edward, Pittston; Clarence and Norman, both of Edwardsville; Burton, Plymouth; Earl, Wilkes-Barre; four grandchildren.

Funeral Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the Williams Funeral Home, 114 W. Main St., Plymouth, with the Rev. Weldon Hettesatiner, pastor of the Larksville Mountain Full Gospel Church, officiating. Interment in Lehman Center Cemetery, Lehman.

Friends may call Tuesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
