From the Wilkes-Barre Record, Tuesday, 29 April 1947, page 10:

Rolland R. Zimmerman, 71, retired farmer of Cambra, died Saturday afternoon at 5 at the home of Samuel S. Umberger, at Lebanon, where he was stricken with a heart attack on Friday while visiting there.

The funeral will be held from a funeral home at Benton Wednesday afternoon at 2. Rev. Garth Maynard, pastor of Benton Christian Church, will officiate. Interment will be in New Columbus Cemetery.

Mr. Zimmerman was born at Southdale, PA, December 31, 1875, a son of the late Wilson and Amanda Kline Zimmerman, but lived at Cambra most of his life. He was a former supervisor of Huntington Township, member of Knapp Lodge 462, Free and Accepted Masons of Berwick; Izaak Walton League, United Sportsmen of Pennsylvania and the Lincoln Republican Club of Lebanon. His wife, the former Anna Robbins, died several years ago.

Surviving are two sons, Clifton, of Wilkes-Barre, and Carl, of Berkeley, Calif., also three brothers, John, of Erie; Crawford, of Jonestown, and Warden, of Southdale.
