From The Wilkes-Barre Record, Friday, 1 February 1946:

Mrs. Euphemia Zimmerman, 55, died at 12:30 yesterday afternoon at her home, 101 Railroad Street, Larksville.

Mrs. Zimmerman was born at Dickson City and had been a resident of Larksville for the past 33 years. She was a member of Larksville Methodist Church.

Surviving are her husband, Nathan, and these children, Mrs. Mary Omelko, Stroudsburg; Charles, Pittston; William, at home; Mrs. Cora McDaniels, Plymouth; Mrs. Althea Shamanski, Edwardsville, and Nathan Zimmerman, Jr., who was recently discharged after serving four and one half years in the air force. She also leaves a brother, George Marcy of Courtdale, and a step-sister, Harriet Zimmerman of Plymouth.

Funeral notice, Tuesday 5 February 1946:

Funeral of Mrs. Euphemia Zimmerman was held yesterday afternoon from the home of her daughter, Mrs. Charles Shamanski, 14 Pugh Street, Edwardsville.

Services were conducted at the home by Rev. George Snyder of the Larksville Methodist Church. Interment was in Cedar Crest Cemetery.

Casket bearers were William, Edward, Elmer, Russell and John Zimmerman and Henry Weaver. Arrangements by Hugh Jones.
