this outfit existed during the period of timing spanning from
-march of 2000 to may of 2001-
so here's the situation as i know it:
what started as four friends doing what they loved has ended in shambles. not only have i lost the only thing in life that i wanted...but i have lost my co-partners as well. we ended on a wrong note...suffering from a situation that will be deemed as my fault. even though i can not take full responsibility for this scenario, i did play a part in it's end. i now stand at a loss of my music and my friends...but if i've learned one thing...i know i must go on. i can't speak on behalf of the rest of my bandmates...but i feel empty inside. music means so much to me and i couldn't even think of the day when i could no longer play a part. we all owe thanks to anyone who came to see us, lended equipment or transportation, had a kind word or bought any of our stuff, anyone who looked past the tune in order to see the true meaning of what we were doing and what we felt...i think it would be hard for me to say that i didn't pour my heart into what i did, but i've made mistakes and now i must pay for them. there are a few people out there who deserve some extra gratitude; so here they are listed in no particular order: dave angiolini, ben varga and United 51, brent ross, cris constantine, DJ Diziky, everyone in Through The Shadows (stick with it boys...cause you're gonna go somewhere) and last but not least...keith lobodinsky for putting up with our racket. but now i'd like to end with a piece of one of our songs;
"reconstruction" it's time to...
to rebuild
what we once had, all the bridges we have burned
what we've lost, what we've learned
as time has taken it's toll
it's shown our swollen heads
and we've realized that the battle can't be won
who cares who wins? I'll take my friends
looking back, just for a moment
reflecting on the days gone by
what we're left with now makes me sick inside
cause you know he would not have wanted it to have to be this way
"we love you mike, we'll be ok"
trust is the one ideal that we need to rebuild
we need it most in our time of need
we need our trust just to be real
it's exactly what means most to me and to you
our friends, our unity, everything that we hold true
because our brotherhood is something that should not rust over time
there will be a healing process, but let's not rush
we have the time
although we have all the time that is left in our lives
the sooner we start, the more time we'll have to get back the years we've lost
because our brotherhood is something that should not rust over time
there will be a healing process, but let's not rush
we have the time
it's exactly what means most to me and to you.....
[this was about doing what you loved with those you loved..but things have changed, and now my life will never be the same. and i stand...once and for all]
