PROPOSED ROUTE CHANGES IN CITY OF CHESTER:
- Split of Route 114 at Chester Transportation Center: Darby to Chester service retains 114 designator; western end of 114 to be consolidated with West Chester to Boothwyn segment of existing Route 314
- Split of Route 118 service patterns: Service to King of Prussia provided by new route via Media, Lawrence Park, and Radnor; new 118 service to operate via Garden City, Media, Delaware County Community College, Newtown Square, and Paoli, with possible extension to Great Valley
- Restructuring of existing Route 116, 117, and 119 services between Chester and Granite Run Mall using four routes: (1) Chester TC to West Chester via PA 352, Elwyn, Granite Run, Penn State, and Goshen Corporate Park with service between Goshen Corporate Park and West Chester operated over existing Route 314; (2) Chester TC to Cheyney University via Crozer-Chester Medical Center, 7th Street, Feltonville, Aston Township, and PA 452; (3) Existing Route 117/119 service between Chester TC and Granite Run Mall/Penn State via Upland and Brookhaven; (4) Chester TC to Granite Run Mall/Penn State via 7th St, Feltonville, and Glen Riddle
- Fare collection for all Chester Hub routes excluding 37, 109, and 113: Pay as you leave when travelling from Chester Transportation Center, pay as you board when travelling towards Chester Transportation Center
PROPOSED ROUTE CHANGES ELSEWHERE:
- ROUTE 104 AM PEAK SERVICE: Direct service to Newtown Square Corporate Campus and Edgmont Square Shopping Center via West Chester Pike, Campus Blvd, and West Chester Pike; return service to 69th Street Terminal operating via West Chester Pike making all local stops between Edgmont Square and 69th Street Terminal; all West Chester buses in both directions to operate express to/from Eagle Rd when Edgmont Square service operates
- ROUTE 104 PM PEAK SERVICE: Direct service to Edgmont Square via West Chester Pike; return service to 69th Street Terminal via Newtown Square Corporate Campus, operating via West Chester Pike, Campus Blvd, Bishop Hollow Rd, and West Chester Pike, making all locals stops; all service to West Chester to operate express to/from Eagle Rd when Edgmont Square service operates
- ROUTE 104 OFF-PEAK and WEEKEND SERVICE: During weekday off-peak hours and all day on weekends, all Route 104 trips to West Chester to be routed via Edgmont Square Shopping Center; for all West Chester trips, service to operate via West Chester Pike, US 202/322, Paoli Pike, and Gay St to provide direct access to West Goshen Shopping Center (this would replace existing 119 service between West Chester Pike and West Goshen Shopping Center)
- ROUTE 113 PEAK HOUR EXPRESS: To reduce overcrowding on 113 buses to Marcus Hook during peak hours, selected trips to/from Marcus Hook would operate closed-door express between 69th Street Terminal and Lansdowne Av/Stewart Av via Garrett Rd and Lansdowne Av
- ROUTE 14 LIMITED STOP TO OXFORD VALLEY: At all times, Route 14 would operate as a limited stop express to Oxford Valley Mall via Neshaminy Mall and Langhorne Borough; closed door express to Roosevelt Blvd/Cottman Av, then limited stops along Roosevelt Blvd at Cottman Av (70, 77), Rhawn St/Pennypack Circle (20, 28), Welsh Rd (88), Grant Av (1, 19), Red Lion Rd (67*), Haldeman Av (67), Comly Rd (1, 67), Woodhaven Rd, Byberry Rd/Southampton Rd (84), and City Line. All Oxford Valley trips would operate limited stop seven days a week; Neshaminy Mall service during weekday off-peak and weekend periods would operate local service; during weekday peak hours, alternating trips to Neshaminy Mall would operate local and limited stop express. Proposal would spread ridership loads over overcrowded Roosevelt Blvd corridor services between Bustleton and Cottman.
- ROUTE 44: Re-route selected peak period trips via Presidential Blvd, Belmont Av, and Montgomery Av to allow direct one-seat ride access to the various industrial parks along the US 1 corridor in Lower Merion
