The Pittston Memorial Library is celebrating the Millennium by breaking ground for a freestanding library. The library is presently located in the basement of Pittston's City Hall. The Library Board of trustees and the City of Pittston are working together to provide the people of Pittston and the surrounding areas with a library that will meet their technological and informational needs. Spring, 2001 is the target date for the completion of this project.
