Effective May 1, 2001, I will feature a certain unit in the Philadelphia Fire Department EMS Division. What will this do? This feature will basically outline the company, as far as history, runs over the past few years, and any other interesting things.
You can also assist in this by e-mailing me and telling me a company to feature and why. Who would you like to see in the very first feature? Let me know!
In the near future, I hope to make this the best EMS Page possible. I will try to update it daily and it will always be under construction, since there is always something happening in the EMS Field. I will be adding pictures of Medic Units and other EMS Vehicles in the Philadelphia Fire Department. I am also working on a section called, "Equipment." Obviously, I hope to be adding a list of everything carried by the Medic Units here in Philadelphia. In addition to that, I also hope to add the history of EMS in the Philadelphia Fire Department. So check back often!
If you have any pictures that are EMS-related and you would like them posted here, send them to me at the e-mail address listed below and I will post them! Whether they are on-scene photos or pictures of medic units, I will post it! When sending a picture, be sure to give me your name, so I can give you credit, and please supply some information about the picture if possible.

As I perform my duty Lord Whatever be the call, Help to guide and keep me safe from dangers big and small. I want to serve and do my best No matter what the scene. I pledge to keep my skills refined, My judgement quick and keen. This calling to give of myself Most do not understand, But I stand ready all the time To help my fellowman. To have the chance to help a child Restore his laugh with glee, A word of thanks I might not hear, But knowing is enough for me.
