What does a father do?  What does he say?
How does a father get to be that way?
Strict when they need to be--to teach us right from wrong.
They have to have hands both gentle and strong.

Camping out, fishing, playing baseball.
Reading a story--a trip to the mall.
Some fathers are born, some are made.
Some stay with us, others fade.
Mistakes...they've made them, as all of us do.
