Shadowed Souls

With dreams that seem so empty
Life nothing as it appears to be
Alone in light of summers moon
Whispers yet answered in stillness loom
As taunting dances the moonlight plays
To howling winds and ghostly shades
Out of stillness there shall come
A mirrored image, a shadowed one
Through the mist echoes will rise
Of hollow lyrics from sorrowed cries
Calls of the huntress cool the nights heat
To dispell tempered lies of defeat
For in the silence of crimson rains
One shadowed soul forever remains
Returning to the darkness forevermore
Never to be deceived...destroyed
Echoes in return again shall rise
Against the dark of midnight skies
Addiction strong drawing 'em near
Entised desire filled with fear
Whispered answers in the stillness loom
Together 'neath the crested moon
Only darkness yeilds escaping ground
Shared dreams by which are bound
Mirrored images wondering in silence of night
Shadowed souls again unite.

Wake No More

Waking in deaths embracing shadow
To tempered sounds dark n hollow
Close my eyes to disappear
Wondering what hell keeps me here
So weak from this endless dream
Holding tight last breaths release
As fading voices vein is slit
Whispered lies acrossed chaste lips
Realities bitter kiss echoes his name
To read last rights for what remains
Skies rage with emptied shattered screams
As I awake...yet do not breath
Lingering sweet raptures in hollow eyes
Reasons of infliction as they die
Forever lost..no way to save
Wrapped in agony, injections gave
Clear rivers inner walls now breach
As somber sonnets are slowly preached
Empty voices rise on air
To taste no more pain or despair
For crested moons light shows the way
Of paths untaken and...My unmarked grave.

Rememberin when...
Shadows danced in somber smiles
Light rose from souls to brighten the darkness
Dreams came on whispered winds
And the silence chimed a presence

Look once more...see the hollowness
The emptiness found within
Silent echoes in the shadows
Jaded dreams of the past
Shallow whispers of sweetened lies
Ghostly images of forgotten eras
When something still remained
In fading reflections of...

Gaze beyond the realm of insanity
Shattered remnants of mind
To fragments left among harsh ruins
Without silken threads nor silver lining
Where granit voices whisper a name
From burnt parchments which were never read
As dead cold hands reach beyond darkness to grip
Touch the reality of nothingness
Etched in window glass of gray
Where lost reflections of time reveal
The simple truth
The matter of fact
There is nothing left
But your blind ignorance
Selfishness...betrayals...guilt and
Faded mirrored reflections of
Me!!!

Band of Sorrow
*
Muffled sounds the lips do part
Of broken dreams and shattered heart
Tears stain soft porcelean upon swallon cheeks
From tempered breaths behind masks they speak
With somber eyes of guilt they try to bring back
Bridge distance the friendship lacked
The past once more on harsh repeat
Of lies spoken with a heartless beat
Stepping closer to the edge again
Only to look back briefly at how it began
Walls that crumbled built for defense
Replaced by insecurities with a picket fence
Memories flash in soft flickers of light
Desending from a final destined flight
Giving it all with nothing gained
But a band of gold and a Lady's name
Always alone in her anguish each night
Wondering where she went wrong in life
Now wilted roses trembling in hands
Above cold dead grounds as they stand
While skies rage with hollow angered voices
Lifes harshest lessons are love...abandon choices.
